Safeguarding Awareness training is for any member of staff who has one-to-one contact with a vulnerable adult, this course is suitable for residential staff, religious groups, sports clubs, youth, council workers etc.

• The different types of abuse as outlined by the Local Safeguarding Partnerships.

• The signs and symptoms of the different types of abuse.

• The impact of the abuse.

• Abusive behaviour by professionals.

• Escalation procedures.

• Referral processes.
