Safeguarding Adults
Safeguarding adults means protecting a person’s right to live in safety, free from abuse and neglect. People with jobs involving direct contact with adults in a vulnerable position, e.g. care workers, residential workers, staff working with adults with disabilities etc need the required training to abide by The Care Act 2014 and to spot signs of abuse and know how to handle them.
